NEPOOL GIS Account Holders,

This message is a reminder for all GIS Account Holders that the last day to perform all Q4 2016 Certificate transactions in NEPOOL GIS is Thursday, June 15, 2017. The Q4 2016 Trading Period will close at 12:00 AM Eastern Daylight Time (EDT) on June 16, 2017.

It is important to remember the following:

All Certificates that are not placed in a Sub-Account or Reserved Account will be retired and converted into Residual Mix – Specifically, these include any Certificates remaining in the Transferable account, Banked account, and Bulletin Board, or any Pending Certificates involved in an inter-account transfer.

2016 Certificates cannot be banked as active into the 2017 NEPOOL GIS trading year. The only exception are certificates flagged as MA Auction Solar Carve-Out Unit from previous vintages, which may be actively carried over to the 2017 trading year depending on the expiration date of the previously auctioned certificates.The deadline to transfer MA SRECs to the MA DOER SREC Auction account is by 11:59 PM EDT on Thursday, June 15, 2017.

Finally, all LSE’s serving retail load in an RPS State need to ensure the proper Obligation amounts are assigned into their respective Sub-Account(s) to account for this quarter’s load as well as 2016 state RPS requirements. Failure to do so will result in your Q4 2016 Obligation going “unassigned”. All 2016 state RPS requirements involving 2016 vintage Certificates need to be met by 11:59 PM EDT on Thursday, June 15, 2017.
